It is our mission to provide thorough and transparent veterinary care every step of the way. Whether your pet is visiting us for an annual wellness exam, dental care, or for a serious surgery, you both can expect to be met with gentle and heartfelt care at our clinic in Colorado Springs.
You and your pet will receive a warm, gentle welcome from our front of house staff members. In our quiet and comfortable waiting area, you will check-in your pet and fill out new patient paperwork. For your convenience, you may fill out new patient paperwork online here and bring it with you so that you may focus on your pet in the waiting area.
The front office staff will collect your new patient paperwork and any medical history you are able to provide. Please note that once you become an established patient at Ponderosa Veterinary Clinic, we will track your pet’s medical history and keep it on file. Once your pet is checked in and all the administrative boxes are checked off, you and your pet will be escorted to a clean and comfortable examination room.
In the exam room, our experienced team of veterinary technicians will take the time to thoroughly discuss your pet’s medical and behavioral history, current condition, and reasons for your visit. Our team will always be honest and upfront about your pet’s health and best interests, so now is the perfect opportunity to let us know of any questions or concerns you have.
Once the veterinary technician has completed a thorough history and collected all of the data needed for the visit, the veterinarian will warmly greet you and your pet. Whether you see Dr. Rick Coufal, Dr. Carol, or Dr. Bennett you can expect the best care.
The veterinarian and any additional team members needed will proceed with the necessary steps for the service that your pet is scheduled for. Throughout your visit, each team member that works with your pet will empower you with all the information needed to make decisions that are ultimately in the best interest for your pet’s health.
